Silversands by Ora set out to give Sahel’s 2026 season a night unlike its usual dinner service: an unforgettable dinner built around exquisite new flavours, paired with the captivating live music of Adriana performing to the room. It was billed less as a dinner reservation and more as an occasion, and the venue wanted the booking experience and the arrival on the night to feel just as considered as the menu.

With a seated dinner format and a headline performer drawing the crowd, managing who was arriving and when mattered as much as the food itself. Silversands by Ora needed a ticketing partner that could handle reservations at pace, keep the guest list accurate, and make sure the night ran smoothly from the moment guests arrived at the door to the moment Adriana took the stage.

The KNOT Technologies Impact

KNOT was brought on as the ticketing and technology partner for the evening. For the organisers, KNOT delivered ticketing and access built for an event of this size. Tickets were issued directly into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, so every guest carried theirs on the phone already in their hand, held in a secure digital pass rather than a screenshot or PDF that can be copied and shared.  

For the on-ground operations teams using KNOT’s admin mobile app, scanning every ticket took seconds and kept working fully offline where connectivity was patchy, so entry never stalled as the crowd built. At the organisers’ request, KNOT issued tickets directly in large numbers on attendees’ Apple and Google wallets in order to prevent unregulated resale and transferability of tickets.
