A global name, at the centre of the biggest night of the summer
PAWSA is one of the most internationally recognised names in techno and house, a headliner who fills festival stages and clubs across continents. Bringing that calibre of act to KYMA Beach, itself one of the North Coast's busiest destinations, turned the night into one of the biggest dates of the summer, an event built at a scale that matched the artist's own global standing.
Demand reflected that scale. Thousands of fans turned out for the night, drawn by a headliner whose name carries weight wherever he plays. KNOT was chosen as the exclusive ticketing provider for this event as part of its involvement in the broader Yalla Sahel tourism campaign.
The KNOT Technologies Impact
For the organisers, KNOT delivered ticketing on a fully white-labelled platform, carrying the event's own brand throughout so the experience felt entirely its own rather than running through a third party.
To manage demand at this scale, tickets were released in staged waves with pricing that moved tier by tier, giving early buyers a lower price and spreading sales across set windows rather than a single moment. When each wave went live, tens of thousands of buyers hit the website at once, and the platform held. Every buyer was placed in KNOT's virtual queue and processed in order, so the site stayed fast and stable under the surge instead of buckling under it.
On the night, scanning verified every ticket in seconds and ran reliably offline, moving thousands of fans through entry without the queues and bottlenecks a crowd that size can create. Throughout, KNOT gave organisers AI-powered analytics dashboards tracking sales, entry and attendance in real time, a live picture of the night as it built to one of the biggest crowds of the season.
